ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Unfree labour

Unfree labour is when a person is made to work for someone else, sometimes against their will, and usually without being paid or being paid very little. This is different from regular work, because the worker is not free to leave or to choose the terms of their working conditions. This can happen in many situations, such as when someone is held captive and forced to work, or when they are told they must work in order to pay off a debt or to receive basic needs like food and shelter. Unfree labour is considered wrong and unfair, and it is illegal in many countries.
