ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Social law

Social law is a special kind of law that looks at the rules that help people get along together. Social law helps people know what the rules are so that everyone can feel comfortable in a group. It also tells us what we should do if someone does something bad or wrong - like if someone breaks the law. Social law can also help us know what kind of behavior is acceptable in certain situations, like when we are at school or in public. Social law also helps us protect our rights - like our right to be treated fairly and our right to freedom of expression. Social law keeps us safe and makes sure that everyone is treated with respect.
