Sohan papdi

Sohan papdi is a sweet treat from India that is a mixture of sugar, flour and ghee (a type of butter). Imagine if you mixed some sugar and flour together and let that cook in a pan with melted butter until the mixture turns golden brown. That’s kind of like how sohan papdi is made!

Once the mixture is golden, it is poured onto a flat surface and then cut into pieces. You can see the sohan papdi pieces have a crumbly texture just like fudge or brittle. The sweet, buttery taste is perfect for a sweet treat or after dinner dessert. It's like a yummy little candy, but it's from a whole different culture!
