Okay, so when you talk or make sounds, it's like playing an instrument. But instead of using a guitar or a piano, you're using parts of your body called speech organs.
There are a bunch of different speech organs, but the most important ones are your lips, tongue, teeth, and vocal cords.
Your lips are the soft, squishy part on the outside of your mouth. You use your lips to make sounds like "m" and "p" by pressing them together really tightly.
Your tongue is the wiggly muscle inside your mouth. You use your tongue to make lots of different sounds. For example, to say "th," you need to stick the tip of your tongue between your teeth.
Your teeth are the hard, pointy things in your mouth that you use to bite and chew your food. You also use them to make sounds like "f" and "v."
And your vocal cords are two little flaps in your throat that vibrate when you talk. They're like guitar strings! When you breathe out air, the vocal cords vibrate and make sounds.
So there you have it! Your speech organs are the parts of your body that you use to talk and make sounds.
