A spiking neural network is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that works a lot like a real brain. It has neuron-like cells that send messages to each other. When one of the cells gets a message, it spikes- meaning it sends out a signal. This signal then travels to the next cell, and so on. The power of a spiking neural network is to process information more quickly, allowing it to make decisions more accurately than a regular computer.
