Stability radius

Stability radius is a measure of how well a plane can recover from losing lift. The way a plane flies is affected by the air around it, so if something changes and the air is affected, that can cause the plane to stop flying and start falling. The stability radius measures how far a plane can move away from a stable position before it starts losing lift and can't get back up. Basically, the bigger the stability radius, the better it is at recovering from changes in the air, which means it's safer to fly.
