ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Stewardship

Stewardship is like taking care of something that is not really ours but that is very important to us. Imagine you have a toy that belongs to a friend, but your friend is letting you borrow it for a while. You want to take good care of it and not break it or lose it because you know your friend loves it and trusts you to take care of it.

Stewardship is like that, but instead of a toy, it could be anything else like a park, a forest, a river, or even the planet. We want to take care of these things because they belong to everyone, and they are important for our health, happiness, and survival.

When we are good stewards, we make sure that we use these things in a way that does not harm them or damage them for future generations. We recycle, conserve water, protect wildlife, and try to reduce our impact on the environment.

We also try to be good stewards of our communities and societies by helping others, volunteering, and working together to solve problems. Stewardship is about taking responsibility and doing our part to make the world a better place for everyone.
