Stress in early childhood

Stress in early childhood means that a young child is feeling scared, anxious, or worried about something. This could be something like a big change in their lives such as a new school or a new home, or it could be something more small like being nervous to take a test. Stress in early childhood can be caused by many different things, and it's important for children to learn healthy ways to avoid or deal with their stress. One way could be for them to talk about what is causing their stress to an adult they trust, like their parents or teachers. Doing activities that help them relax, like going for a walk or reading a book can also be helpful. Lastly, if their stress is more severe, talking to a mental health professional can be a great way to help them learn different skills to cope with stress.
