Synapse

A synapse is like a tiny bridge that helps two brain cells (called neurons) talk to each other. When one neuron has something to tell another neuron, it sends an electrical signal across the bridge, and then the other neuron responds by sending its own signal back. This helps the brain to remember things, learn, and make decisions.
