TRACE

Trace is when you follow something or someone. It's like a game of hide and seek, but instead of someone hiding and you have to find them, you're trying to find out where something has been, like a trail of breadcrumbs. For example, if you're trying to solve a mystery, you might trace a person's steps to try to figure out where they went or what happened to them.
