Tensor Processing Unit

A Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) is a specially-designed chip (a type of processor) that is used to help run artificial intelligence (AI) programs. A TPU is designed to be especially good at running programs that need to look at a lot of different numbers at the same time, like when an AI program is recognizing shapes in an image. A TPU can do this quickly and efficiently, helping AI programs work better.
