Terrestrial planet

A terrestrial planet is a type of planet that is small and solid, like Earth. Terrestrial planets are made of rocks and are very heavy. Unlike other types of planets, terrestrial planets don't have any gas or clouds around them. They don't have rings like Saturn or a huge atmosphere like Jupiter. They look dark and are usually close to the Sun.
