Territorial designation

Hey kiddo, do you know what territory means? It's like a specific area that belongs to someone or something. Just like how your room is your territory and nobody else can enter without your permission.

Now, territorial designation is when we give names or titles to different territories around the world. This helps to identify and differentiate between different areas.

Let's take an example. You know that there are different countries in the world like the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Each of these countries has different states, like California, Texas, etc. These states are like territories within the country.

Now, if we want to talk about a particular territory or state, we need to give it a name or title so that people know exactly which one we are referring to. For example, if we say "New York," we know that we are talking about a state in the United States and not some other New York somewhere else.

So, territorial designation is just a way of giving specific names or titles to different territories around the world so that we can easily identify and talk about them. It's like giving a toy its own special name so that we can easily find it among other toys.
