Tie-dye

Hey kiddo! Have you ever heard of tie-dye? It's a really cool way to make colorful designs on clothes!

Here's how it works: first, you get a white shirt or other piece of clothing. Then, you use rubber bands or string to tie it up in different places. This makes little sections where the dye won't reach.

Next, you mix up some special dye - it's like coloring for clothes! You can choose different colors and make them really bright and fun.

You squirt the dye onto the shirt in different places. The areas where you tied up the shirt won't get any dye, so you'll have little white sections mixed in with the colors.

Once you're done adding dye, you let the shirt sit for a while. This lets the colors soak into the fabric and make a really cool design.

After a little while, you'll rinse the shirt with water and take off all the rubber bands or string. You'll be left with a really cool, colorful shirt that you made all by yourself!
