In spaceflight, a timeline is a list of important events in the history of space exploration. This timeline starts from the very first time people flew in space and follows the development of spaceflight through each major event. It also includes a few important people that helped make spaceflight possible.
First in 1961, the Soviet Union sent the first human into space. His name was Yuri Gagarin. Then in 1969, the United States became the first country to send a person to the moon. His name was Neil Armstrong.
After that, there have been many more people and spacecraft sent in to explore space. Apollo missions sent astronauts to the moon, the International Space Station was built, and the Hubble Space Telescope was sent into orbit. The first rover, Curiosity, was sent to Mars in 2012 to explore the surface. In 2014, the European Space Agency launched the Rosetta mission to explore a comet.
Many other spaceflights, including many satellite launches and scientific experiments, have taken place over the last few decades. These space missions have helped us better understand our universe and have led to incredible discoveries.
Space exploration is an ongoing process and can always be improved upon. We are still learning more and more about our universe and hope to continue going farther and farther into the future.
