ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Tiny house movement

The Tiny House Movement is about people choosing to live in smaller homes that use a lot less resources such as electricity, water, and land. People usually choose to live in tiny homes because they cost less money, use fewer resources, and encourage people to live with less stuff. Tiny houses are usually much smaller than traditional homes, ranging from 100-400 square feet. Tiny houses can be placed on foundations in a residential neighborhood, on a trailer that can be towed around, or both. Inside tiny houses, people often have clever storage solutions and multi-purpose furniture to make the most of their space.
