Track (rail transport)

Rail transport is when trains travel on metal tracks. The tracks have two parallel pieces of metal that stretch out for miles and miles. The trains have large metal wheels that fit inside the metal tracks as the train moves along. This helps keep the train in line and gives it a smooth ride. As the train moves, electricity is provided to the tracks, which helps power the train. This way, the trains can travel very far without needing to stop and refuel.
