Traffic count

Okay kiddo, traffic count is when people count how many cars drive on a road or a street. You know how we count how many sprinkles are on our ice cream? It's kind of like that, but instead of sprinkles, we count how many cars go by.

People use traffic count to help them figure out how busy a road is and how much traffic there is in a certain area. They might also use this information to help them plan for things like new roads or other transportation improvements.

Traffic count is done in a few different ways. Sometimes, people will sit by the road with a special machine that counts the number of cars that go by. Other times, they might use cameras or sensors that can tell how many cars are passing by.

It's important to count traffic because it helps us understand how many people are using the roads and how they're using them. This information can help us make decisions that make our roads safer and more efficient for everyone.
