ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Training effect

The training effect is something that happens when you exercise regularly. When you exercise, your body has to work harder than usual to do all of the movements and activities that you are doing. This causes your muscles, heart, and other parts of your body to get stronger and more efficient.

Think of it like a game. When you first start playing a game, you don't know all the rules and it's hard to get the hang of it. But the more you play, the better you get at it. Your brain and body start to remember the movements and strategies, and you can do them without even thinking about it.

The same thing happens when you exercise regularly. At first, it might feel hard and you might get tired quickly. But the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Your body starts to get used to the movements and your muscles start to adapt to the stress of the exercise.

This is called the "training effect." It means that your body is getting better at doing the exercise, and you are getting stronger and more fit as a result. With regular exercise, you can create lasting changes in your body that will help you feel better, look better, and live a longer, healthier life.
