Transjordan (region)

Transjordan is a place that used to be part of the country of Jordan. It's a big area on the other side of the Jordan River from where most people in Jordan live. It's also known as Jordan's East Bank.

A long time ago, people used to live in Transjordan, and they had a different way of life from the people who lived in other parts of Jordan. They had their own culture and traditions.

In 1921, Transjordan became a separate place from the rest of Jordan. It was ruled by a king who made the rules for the people who lived there. The king had to make a lot of important decisions to keep the people of Transjordan safe and happy.

Today, Transjordan is still an important region in Jordan. It has its own cities and towns and many people still live there. It's also a popular place for people to visit because it has lots of different things to see and do.

So, in summary, Transjordan is a big area in Jordan that used to be one part of the country but is now separate. It has its own culture and traditions, and lots of people still live there today.
