Transparency Report

A Transparency Report is a document that provides information about how a company or organization is dealing with privacy and information requests. Companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter make such reports, which are typically made available to the public. The report includes statistics on how many requests the company has received from governments, organizations and individuals; how many requests have been rejected or accepted; and what types of requests are being made. It also includes information on data breaches and other security incidents. By releasing Transparency Reports, companies are trying to show how seriously they take user data privacy and how they are protecting that data.
