Types of mesh

Mesh is like a net that we use to catch things or keep things safely inside. There are different types of meshes that we use for different purposes.

First, there is a welded wire mesh. It is made by welding wires together so they don’t move around. This type of mesh is used for building fences or cages.

Second, there is woven wire mesh. It is made by weaving wires together like a cloth. This type of mesh is used for window screens and sieves that we use in the kitchen.

Third, there is expanded metal mesh. It is made by stretching a piece of metal to create small diamond-shaped holes. This type of mesh is used for making metal grates, walkways, and stair treads.

Fourth, there is knitted wire mesh. It is made by knitting wires together like a scarf. This type of mesh is used for oil filters and mufflers in cars.

Finally, there is plastic mesh. It is made by weaving plastic strands together. This type of mesh is used for packing fruits and vegetables, and as a support for climbing plants.
