Typology (theology)

Typology (theology) is the way we study and think about how different stories, events, and people in the Bible are connected to each other. It’s like finding hidden messages or clues that tell us something about our lives today.

Let’s say we have a story about Noah in the Bible. We can learn about God’s love for us by studying what happened to Noah. God saved Noah from a huge flood and put him in an ark. This teaches us that God will always be with us and will always protect us, even when things seem really bad.

We can also learn from Noah’s story that God will give us second chances. God allowed Noah to start over and even made a promise that he would never let such a big flood happen again. This teaches us that when we make mistakes, God still loves us and will forgive us.

So typology (theology) helps us to understand the stories in the Bible and to learn from them. It helps us to understand God better and to trust Him more.
