Underline

Underlining is when you take a special pen or pencil and draw a straight line underneath some writing. It helps to make that writing really stand out and make it important. It's a bit like putting a highlighter on that text, but instead of making it all colorful, you just make it have a line underneath it. This is often used when you're reading books or writing notes to help you remember important things.
