Unity of opposites

Unity of Opposites is a way of looking at things that sees life as a mix of different things that seem opposite, but also work together in harmony. Imagine a yin-yang symbol: it has both dark and light, and together they make a complete circle. That’s unity of opposites. Life is full of opposites: happy and sad, up and down, hot and cold - but together, these things all help make our lives interesting and meaningful.
