V-1 flying bomb

Okay kiddo, so a long time ago, during World War II, some bad guys called the Nazis were trying to take over the world. They made something called a V-1 flying bomb which was basically like a robot plane.

This flying bomb went super fast because it had a rocket engine, kind of like the ones that take astronauts to space. It would launch from a special ramp and fly towards a target.

But here's the scary part - the V-1 bomb didn't need a person to control it. It had a special mechanism inside that would steer it towards where it was supposed to go. This meant that the bad guys could launch it towards a city, like London for example, and it would fly there on its own, not caring who or what was in its way.

The V-1 flying bombs were very dangerous and caused a lot of damage during the war. But thankfully, good guys called the Allies were able to stop most of them before they hit their targets. They did this by sending planes up to shoot them down or by using special devices to jam the V-1's navigation system.

So, in short, the V-1 flying bomb was a type of robot plane that the Nazis made during World War II to try and take over the world. But the Allies were able to stop most of them and keep people safe.
