Vanadium redox battery

A vanadium redox battery is like a special kind of rechargeable battery. It has two different kinds of vanadium liquids in it, and they interact with each other to store energy. When you plug it in, one kind of vanadium liquid (the oxidant) gains electrons, which is a type of energy. Then, when you unplug your battery, the other kind of vanadium liquid (the reductant) releases the electrons, which you can use as energy. So, it's like a battery that you can plug in and unplug to use the energy inside.
