ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Vault (architecture)

A vault in architecture is like a really strong and secure room that is made of thick strong materials, like bricks or stone. It usually has a curved shape at the top, like a half-circle, to help distribute the weight of things on top of it evenly. A vault is used to keep things safe, like money, important papers, or even people, and can only be opened with a special key or code. It's like having a secret hiding spot that nobody can get into unless they have the special secret code or key to open it.
