Vayeira is a special word that comes from the Torah. The Torah is like a big book that has stories about people who lived a long, long time ago. In this story called Vayeira, there is a man named Abraham. He is a very important person because he is a friend of God.
One day, Abraham sees three visitors come to his tent. He is very excited and welcomes them with open arms. He wants to make sure they are taken care of, so he quickly gets his wife Sarah to make them some food.
These three visitors turn out to be very special. They are angels! They have come to give Abraham and Sarah some good news. They tell Sarah that she will have a baby very soon, and even though she is very old, she is very happy.
But not everything in this story is happy. The angels also tell Abraham about a city called Sodom. The people in Sodom were not being good to each other, so God was not happy with them. The angels warned Abraham to stay away from Sodom because God would soon destroy the city.
Abraham was very sad to hear this news because he had some friends who lived in Sodom. He wanted to help them, so he begged the angels to save the city. But they told him that only the good people would be saved.
In the end, the angels were right, and Sodom was destroyed. But Abraham and Sarah were blessed with a baby boy, just like the angels said they would. And this is what we learn from the story of Vayeira - that being kind to strangers is important, and that God rewards good behavior.
