Victimless crime

A victimless crime is a type of crime that doesn't hurt or cause harm to anyone else. Examples of victimless crimes are drugs, gambling, prostitution, and even certain laws against public nudity. These crimes don't hurt other people in any way, but they are still against the law. In some cases, governments want to keep people from doing these activities, so they punish people who do them. However, the punishment is usually not very severe.
