Viral plaque

Okay kiddo, imagine that your teeth are like a house and they have guests (bacteria) living inside. These guests love to eat candy and sugary food you eat, and when they eat, they make a mess on your teeth.

As the mess gets bigger, it turns into a hard and sticky substance called plaque. This plaque is like a swarm of germs stuck to your teeth that can cause tooth decay and gum disease.

Now, sometimes, there are some really bad germs in the plaque, and they can quickly multiply and spread to other parts of your mouth like a virus. This is called viral plaque, and it can cause really serious problems if it's not taken care of.

So, just like how you might clean up your toys when they're too messy, you need to clean your teeth to get rid of the plaque and prevent viral plaque from spreading. Make sure to brush your teeth twice a day, floss regularly, and visit the dentist to keep your mouth clean and healthy.
