Virtual particle

Virtual particles are like a pretend game for scientists! In the pretend game, scientists make up two invisible things called particles and then act like they interact with each other. These particles don't actually exist, like how pretend monsters don't actually exist. The scientists can use these pretend particles to help them better explain how real things interact with each other in the real world.
