Voiceless corono-dentoalveolar sibilant

Okay kiddo, so you know how when you say the letter "s", it makes a hissing sound? Well, sometimes when we say the "s" sound, we don't use our voices to make the sound, it's just air coming out of our mouth. That's called a voiceless sound.

Now, the corono-dentoalveolar part is talking about where in our mouth we make the sound. It's a fancy way of saying we make the "s" sound by pushing air out of our mouth between our front teeth and the roof of our mouth.

And finally, the word "sibilant" just means a hissing sound, kind of like a snake. So when you put it all together, a voiceless corono-dentoalveolar sibilant is just a fancy word for the sound we make when we say the letter "s" without using our voice, by pushing air out between our front teeth and the roof of our mouth.
