ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Waste collector

A waste collector is someone who picks up the garbage or waste that we create in our homes and takes it away to a big truck. Imagine you have a big box where you throw away all the things you no longer need or want, like dirty tissues, old papers, and empty food containers. The waste collector's job is to take that box from your house and put it in a much bigger truck that has even more of those boxes from other people's homes.

Once the truck is full, the waste collector drives it to a special place called a landfill, where all the trash is dumped in large sections. They carefully separate the different types of waste, like plastic, metal, and organic waste, so that it can be properly treated and recycled.

The waste collector helps keep our environment clean and healthy by making sure that our waste is disposed of properly, and does not harm the environment or the people around us. So, always make sure to thank the waste collector for their important work and cooperate with them by always putting your waste in the garbage box.
