Water wheel

A water wheel is like a big, round toy that spins around in the water. But instead of playing with it in the bathtub, people use it to make electricity or power machines. The water wheel sits in a river or stream and as the water flows over the wheel, it makes it turn around and around. This movement is called "rotating". The water wheel is connected to a machine, like a mill or a generator, which uses the spinning motion to do work or create electricity. It's kind of like when you spin a toy car wheel really fast and watch it move on its own, but bigger and more powerful. People have been using water wheels for hundreds of years, and they're still useful in some places today where there's a lot of water flowing. Plus, they're pretty fun to watch!
