Welteislehre

Welteislehre is a strange belief from the early 1900s that says the universe is made out of a type of living energy called "Welteisle", which means "world-ether". It was popularized by German writer Guido von List, and it says that God created the universe by creating Welteisle and filling it with different forms of life. The idea was that Welteisle was the invisible force that connects us all and is responsible for everything that happens in the universe. People who believed in this form of thinking believed that you could use it to heal yourself and others, and even control the weather. It was seen as a way to access occult powers, and it was very popular at the time. Unfortunately, the scientific evidence for Welteisle has never been found, so it is generally seen as a type of pseudoscience today.
