White-collar crime

White-collar crime is when people in business or other types of jobs use their positions to break the law and make themselves money. It's called "white-collar" because the people who do it usually wear a shirt and tie to work. Examples of white-collar crime might be taking money from an employer for your own use, cheating on taxes, selling fake products, or not following the rules of an industry like medicine or banking.
