Wind engineering

Wind engineering is a type of engineering that helps us understand how wind affects buildings. Wind engineers use wind tunnel tests, computer-aided design, engineering calculations and other tools to determine the wind loads (wind pressure) that buildings and structures may encounter when exposed to wind. Wind loads can cause damage and affect the stability of these buildings and structures. Wind engineers use their expertise to design structures that are more resistant to wind loads, making them more stable and safe.
