World Oceans Day is a special day when we celebrate all of the big bodies of water on Earth, called oceans. There are five oceans: the Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern, and Arctic. These oceans are super important to all living things on Earth because they help regulate the climate, provide food, and even help people travel around the world!
On World Oceans Day, people all over the world take time to think about how they can help keep our oceans healthy and clean. We can do this by picking up litter at the beach, using less plastic, and eating sustainable seafood. We also celebrate all of the creatures that live in the ocean, like sharks, whales, dolphins, and even tiny plankton.
The oceans are a big part of our planet and it's important for us to take care of them. By doing so, we can help ensure that future generations can also enjoy and benefit from these incredible bodies of water!
