Yue (state)

Yue was a place a long time ago in China where a group of people lived together under a leader called a King. It was one of many different places called states in China at that time. The people who lived in Yue had their own special traditions and culture, like the way they cooked their food and the kind of clothes they wore. They also had their own language and way of writing.

The King of Yue was in charge of making important decisions for the people who lived there. He had soldiers to protect the land and make sure no one tried to take over. The King also had important advisors who helped him make these decisions.

One day, the King of Yue made a really big decision that affected all the people who lived there. He decided to join forces with some of the other states in China to fight against a powerful enemy called Chu. They had to work together and fight really hard to win the battle, but they did. Afterwards, the people of Yue were happy and grateful to have such a strong leader who could make smart decisions to protect them.
