ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Guerrilla filmmaking

Okay kiddo, so guerrilla filmmaking is when a group of people want to make a movie, but they don't have a lot of money or resources to do it. So instead of going through all the normal steps of making a movie, like getting permission to film in certain places or hiring lots of expensive equipment, they take a more sneaky approach.

They might film in places without asking, or use natural light instead of fancy lights. They might use a handheld camera instead of a big, heavy one on a tripod. They might even act out scenes in public places without anyone knowing they are making a movie.

It's like making a secret movie! The people making the movie have to be really creative and work together to get things done without drawing too much attention to themselves. That's why it's called guerrilla filmmaking – it's like a secret mission to create something amazing.
