Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse

Abu Ghraib was a prison in Iraq where prisoners were not treated properly. In some cases, people in charge of the prison (called guards) did things that are not allowed, like beating prisoners, and taking photos or videos of prisoners without their permission. Guards sometimes kept prisoners in uncomfortable ways, and even threatened them or made them scared. This kind of treatment of prisoners is wrong, and is called prisoner abuse or torture.
