Bagram torture and prisoner abuse

Okay, kid, there was a place called Bagram, in a country called Afghanistan. Some people from a different country came there to try and help keep people safe. These people would sometimes capture other people who they thought were doing bad things, like trying to hurt others.

But some of the people who were captured were treated very badly. They were hurt and made to feel scared a lot. This is called torture and prisoner abuse, which is very wrong and bad. It hurts the people who are being tortured and makes them feel very sad and scared.

When people found out that this was happening, they got upset and wanted the people who were doing the torture and prisoner abuse to stop. Eventually, some changes were made, and the people who were doing this bad stuff were punished for it.

It's essential to treat everyone respectfully and not hurt anyone, even if we think they are doing something bad. Instead, we should try and help them in a kind way, because that is the right thing to do.
