Access to public information

Access to public information means that everybody has the right to find out information the government and other organisations have made public. For example, you might want to know how much money the government spends each year - that's something the government has said everyone can look up and learn about. So if you wanted to know, you could look it up on the internet or ask someone in charge for more information.
