Transparency (behavior)

Transparency is when people are honest and open about their behaviors. It means that someone is willing to show you what they are doing, and why they are doing it, without hiding or trying to keep things secret. For example, if your parent tells you why they said "no" to something you asked them for, they are being transparent. They are telling you their reasoning, so that you can understand why they made the decision they did. Transparency is important because it helps us know that we can trust each other.
