ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Acts 11

Acts 11 is a part of the Bible that tells the story of when some people were being mean to other people just because of where they were from. But there was a man named Peter who had a special dream where God told him that it was okay to be friends with people from all different countries and cultures.

Peter was a bit confused at first because he had always been taught that it was only okay to be friends with people who were just like him. But God explained to him that everyone is equally important and loved, no matter where they're from or what they believe in.

So Peter went out and started making friends with people who were different from him. He even went to eat with them and learn about their cultures. And when he got back home, he told his friends and other people about how we should all love and respect each other, no matter what.

This was a really important message because it showed that we shouldn't judge people based on things like the color of their skin or where they come from. Instead, we should try to learn from and appreciate our differences, and celebrate what makes each of us unique.
