Acts 4

Acts 4 tells us about a time when a man named Peter and his friend John were preaching in Jerusalem. This was during the time when Jesus was still alive and he had been performing many miracles and healings. Peter and John had been healed by Jesus and they wanted to share what they had seen and heard. When they were preaching, some people believed them but others did not. The people who did not believe them arrested Peter and John and put them in jail. An angel of God came and released them from prison, and then God showed His power by sending thousands of people to believe in Jesus and become Christians. So the lesson from Acts 4 is that God is always in control and He will always protect those who obey Him.
