American Revolutionary War
The American Revolutionary War was a war between the American colonies and Britain. The colonies wanted freedom from Britain and wanted to become an independent country. Britain didn't want the colonies to be independent and so they fought with them. Eventually, the colonists won the war and were able to form their own country, the United States of America.
