Ancestral sin is the idea that we, as humans, are affected by things our ancestors did in the past. It means that if an ancestor of yours did something wrong or bad, it can affect you and your future generations. For example, if your ancestor broke the law, you might have to pay for the consequences of their mistake, even though you didn't do anything wrong.
