Angular momentum

Angular momentum is a special type of momentum that occurs when things are spinning or rotating. It's like regular momentum, but instead of an object traveling in a straight line, it's an object spinning in a circle or any other shape. For example, if a person is spinning a lasso, the lasso has angular momentum. The bigger the lasso and the faster the spinning, the more momentum it has. When something is spinning, it has something called "spin," which is caused by the angular momentum. The more spin something has, the harder it is to stop it.
